About This Project
Waste collection remains a challenge in many communities due to inefficient processes, limited tracking, and a lack of user engagement. In many areas, collectors still travel through neighborhoods using loudspeakers or shouting to announce their services, creating noise pollution, consuming extra fuel, and following inefficient collection routes.
To address these challenges, we developed the Smart E-Waste Management System - a digital platform that connects customers, collectors, and administrators through a centralized ecosystem.
Instead of waiting for collection vehicles, users can request pickups directly through a mobile app, allowing collectors to view assigned requests, optimize routes, reduce unnecessary travel, and improve fuel efficiency while creating a more convenient experience for users.
